Our every step (and hurdle, and stumble) from the initial sketches to product launch has been reviewed against our commitment to creating a product that is environmentally and socially responsible.
We built a supply chain of the most ethical-as-can be practices from makers who share our belief that value and quality can co-exist. We prioritised suppliers with certifications for environmental and social responsibility, and built strong relationships with each.
Read our blog post about our supply chain here, and download our responsible sourcing commitment below:
We choose our materials with a focus on longevity, and a reduction of chemicals, plastics and waste.
The result is a watch that doesn’t just look and feel good but does good.
RECYCLED PET BOTTLES
One NATO strap equals one recycled plastic bottle not going into landfill (or the ocean). Awesome.
ZERO WASTE ION PLATING
Our (conflict free) rose gold is applied using a zero waste dry plating process that eliminates air emissions, wastewater and hazardous wastes associated with traditional plating techniques.
Our packaging is made from 100% recycled and recyclable craft paper and board (including the inner tray) and printed with eco friendly ink.
This is a big one. There is no such thing as perfection in sustainability. We could have spent years researching and amending and perfecting, but there is a limit.
Our goal is to start a movement and use our momentum to push for greater change as we go.
We hope you can join us.
